Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions

How can we help?

Find clear answers about finding businesses, managing listings, and using your Findit account.

How do I find a business on Findit?

Use search to enter a business name or keyword, then narrow the results by category and location. You can also browse available categories and locations directly from the directory.

How do I add my business?

Create and verify your Findit account, open Add Listing from the business dashboard, and complete the guided form with your business, location, media, and operating details.

Why is my new listing not public yet?

New listings are submitted for administrator review. Your dashboard shows the current status, and the listing becomes public after it is approved.

Can I edit my business after submitting it?

Yes. The owner dashboard lets you maintain the information for businesses you own, including contact details, photos, services, and opening hours.

Can business owners respond to reviews?

Yes. Owners can view published reviews for their businesses and add or update one owner response to each review from the dashboard.

How do I claim a business already listed on Findit?

Use Claim Requests in your verified account, select the available business, and submit ownership information and proof. An administrator reviews the request before ownership is assigned.

How can I contact a listed business?

Open the business profile to use its available phone, directions, website, or contact form. Messages sent through a business contact form appear in that owner’s dashboard.

How do premium listing upgrades work?

Choose an available package from Premium Upgrades and submit the required payment reference. The request remains pending until an administrator verifies it.

Why must I verify my email?

Email verification protects business-owner features. Listing management, claims, analytics, messages, reviews, and account settings become available after verification.

How do I report incorrect or inappropriate content?

Send the listing or review details through the Contact Findit page. The administrator team can review the information and take the appropriate moderation action.
